young boy handicraft ideas

    I am looking for ideas for my 5 year old son to do as a handicraft during our masterly inactivity time.  I printed off the list of handicrafts and life skills from this site, but the handicrafts seem too advanced for him.  I also have girls that I am learning to do handcrafts with as well.  So my one-to-one attention is stretched out.  Do I need to let him cross-stitch with us?  Just let him play with his toys?  Focus on life skills for now?  Thank you!

    And it doesn’t hurt for him to learn “girl” things like sewing.  They are useful skills for a boy too.  And the same the other way around for that matter.

    Thank you for the past thread.  I did not see that earlier.  Lots of great ideas!  I look forward to putting different activities together for him.
