Charlotte did! But I am pretty sure it rains almost every day in England, so she had good reason :).
Sometimes I do send my 4 boys out to splash in the puddles, but otherwise we don’t do much outdoor time in the rain.
After the rain is a wonderful time to be outside! The birds are happy and singing, the light is clear and the air is clean….and did I mention the puddles?

We love puddle jumps either barefoot or in rain boots! I think I shared this song recently either here or with my co-op, but it’s appropriate and we love it.

We skip thunderstorms too, otherwise the temperature is the deciding factor for us. If your kids don’t have rubber boots/rain boots/golashes I’d put that top of the list for the near future. (If you are fortunate to find the plain ol black ones, they can be passed down to the next child, boy or girl). I have a pair myself. We live in the country, and they are a necessity. The only time my kids don’t wear them is during winter! Not only are they easy for littles to get on/off, but they also hose off well. And they are fantastic for the time after rain or snow melt which which equals MUD. So there’s my plug for rain boots!
