Yearly Overview Another ?

Downloadable document I wondered what the arrows in the Topic and Resource boxes mean? I actually needed more room and typed 4 or so lines which it let me do, but when I went to print it out only 2 lines showed up.

Also, about previous question. Am I suppose to type it all out, print it and then delete it all out of the downloaded charts and then begin the student Yearly Overviews in the same chart?
