Writing Schedule for 9th Grade

    I’m looking over my 9th graders writing schedule and wondering if its enough/too much? Would anyone be willing to share your highschoolers writing plan (including all forms of writing) for the week. Thanks so much! ~ Heather

    I expect high schoolers to be writing something every day.  So, written narrations, paragraphs on short-answer questions–something.  I also expect essays, beginning with one every two weeks and going up to two or three a week.  If they have an essay needing work, I don’t assign many written narrations for that day.
