Oh Polly, rejoicing with you! Our God is so good (Mercy choked on THREE pennies on Monday!!!! and “mercifully” ended up throwing them up!)! What a great cause for anxiety though being so far away from her!
Hallelujah! Thank you Father for Your hedge of protection around this girl, Lord, and for Your hand on the other drivers as well. We pray that You please continue to hold her close and to let her light shine on in this world that You have chosen to keep her in. Whatever greatness You have planned for her here is bound to be amazing!
Thank you for thanking the Lord with me! She is doing pretty well. Hurting. Afraid to get back in a car. Wondering about a new car… But, she is aware of God’s outpouring of grace upon her life. All the emergency workers kept asking if there was another person in the car with her. They all thought they saw 2 people in the car with her. (She was alone – on her way to work.) It reminds me of what what I sometimes pray for my children : 2 Kings 6:17 “And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
