I just posted a blog with our curriculum for this year, and I would love your feedback! My kiddos are ds 7 1/2 and dd 6. This is our third year to homeschool. I’m trying to stoke myself up for the new school year, so maybe some encouragment and wisdom is what I need…
Looks similar to our curriculum, only we are on Ancient Rome this year! We are using Penmanship Grade 2 for learning cursive by R & S. I’m scared to teach this also! I also have to teach a left hander how to write cursive!! I may need to practice…
I’m also using the 21 Rules right now and getting ready to start Wisdom and the Millers as soon as we finish A Child’s Book of Character Building book 1. I just love the 21 Rules! The girls love to take turns coloring a poster and I love the character qualities we are learning!
I’d be interested in hearing how Apologia goes. We are on 106 Days of Creation for the second year and not sure what we’ll do next school year…
I think it looks great! I don’t know if it is having 3 kids or one that is older than yours but I feel we have sooo much more going on (and I wish we didn’t). I would like to simplify but then that seems to leave something out, hmmm.
Anyway, for a going on 3rd year of hsing, I think you are doing such a great job. You seem to know what you want and aren’t cluttered in the mind with too many choices or too many resources. I could be off a little, but I don’t think so. I’d like to have my lists look a bit cleaner/clearer like yours.
My girls really enjoy the Wisdom with the Millers too. Looks like a fun year for you all! I am still trying to get “stoked” for the new year, but feeling a bit stuck in first gear. I am blaming this hot weather. 🙂
Have a blessed year ahead!
