World Wars and Such

    My 9yo ds would like me to give him a summary of the big battles and wars that have taken place throughout history; such as a crash course in world wars & such. Sadly, my knowledge is lacking. Any book suggestions?

    Hi I have a book that was given to me..I think it is short and easy to read…it does not have just wars and not all wars but American History and the wars that we were involved in. It is recommended for 9yrs and up. I don’t know if it is in print still…it is up to 1996. It is from Scholastic Homework Reference Series called Everything You Need to Know about American History–A Desk Reference for Students and Parents by Anne Zeman and Kate Kelly.

    Since it is a “desk reference” the info is short and to the point with pics too! Oh and a timeline!
