Hubby let me take my ds9 out for the last quarter and home school him, which has been an ongoing battle for me.  But being the good submissive help meet wife I am I always just let it drop.  When the problems we were experiencing with the school system finally got to both of us he agreed to let me try for one quarter.  After schooling him for 4 weeks and the ICHE conference coming up in June, I got the OK to pick out his next year’s curriculum.  Since he is a hands on learner and learns best by touching, feeling, modeling and after discussing SCM he gave me the go ahead to purchase the curriculum.  He thinks it would be good for him and I both 🙂  Now I can’t wait until next school year!!

Anyone have suggestions for a real newbie to home schooling and SCM?  Advice?

Congrats!! —  the only advice I can give you is stick to these forums, they have great info and the members offer great insight!  Welcome aboard!

Hi welcome and good luck, advice at the beginning would be don’t panic if every day is not smooth – it is an adjustment, just stick with it, you and hubby will be glad you did.  And just like Angie said, stick with the forum, it is the best.  Blessings.  Linda
