I rarely get sick, so having struck a fever today is unusual. I also started that time of the month today. Could these two things be related? Any of you suddenly get a fever with a period? I’m guessing I’ll need to report to my doctor. Ugh.
Are you under treatment for something that would require you to report it to the doctor? It could just be that you have gotten one of the viruses going around which includes fever and you just have to let it run its course. They are very prevalent this year even for those of us who do not get sick very often. If the fever gets high and sticks around, then there might be concern of a bacterial infection. Fever is actually a healthy part of the immune system which helps deal with pathogens.
