I would like to represent women artists as we study the greats. I’m having a hard time finding resources. I really love the Picture Study Portfolios in the book store here but they are all male artists. I’m planing on just using a  book for Sofonisba Anguissola’s Term. Unfortunately that makes it hard to display throughout the week. Does anyone know of any other resources that I’m missing?

Calendars!!! Old and out of date are fine, but you can often find them focused on one artist.

I’m not sure why my reply didn’t work?  I’m going to try again and it will probably end up on here twice!  Anyway… I don’t know if this is what you are looking for or not but Amazon sells a book called 13 Women Artists Children Should Know.  We’ve used a couple from that series and like them. Also, EnrichmentStudies.com has several different choices in artist studies that are only women.

The Come Look with Me series has one  with only women artists. Still wouldn’t solve your display issue but the books are great.

I don’t know if these will help or not but I have used both of these items and we have enjoyed them…
