I am wanting to get some new Wii games for my kiddos for Christmas. However, I can’t always tell from the covers if they are appropriate. I have noticed in the past that some of the games that say “everyone” shouldn’t as I find them morally inappropriate. What are some fun ones that all my kids ages 4, 7, 9 will enjoy?
If you can find an “Active” Adventure Game (Active is the brand name) – games include Active Life Challenge, and Active Adventure – we have 3 in the series) – they are GREAT! You do need to get the Mat that comes with the games. 2 Christmases ago we found one with the Mat included, and we have bought the other two games without the mat used.
It has the kids running / jumping / using their arms (with the controller) to do various things – and my kids LOVE it. We use it a lot in bad weather in winter.
We like Wii Active Life Explorer, Sports, Sports Resort, Ski & Snowboard, Fit Plus. My kids even like Wii Active, which are a bunch of customizable workouts. The Lego ones (there are many) are pretty decent, but you just sort of stand there. In the Star Wars one Leia has the option of wearing the slave outfit. My youngest son likes the Diego game.
Oh yeah, we love the LEGO games, and own most of them. Not active at all for the player, but a lot of fun and humour. There is a bit of violence generally…. but is done by the Lego being disassembled (And often in a funny way.)
