why is picture study important. . .

    Hi, please give me advice. My 7 year old son doesn’t like to pay attention and describe the picture after. He prefers to describe the picture while looking at it. We have done Cassatt, Homer and now it’s Seurat. His respond is worsening in this subject 😢

    He likes Cassatt best but when he was looking at the pictures, it only took a few seconds.

    I am thinking to just display the pictures in my home and not looking and describing them. Or choose painting with single object. What do you think ladies ?
