    I’m using a trial of it and I love it and am going to keep it…but…how can I make it run faster? When I click on anything, for example completing an assignment, it usually takes 30 seconds before it refreshes the page. I did downgrade to slower speed cable internet but nothing else takes so long to load as the organizer does. Is there a simple fix for this?

    What version of Windows, and what web browser are you using?

    I have Vista windows…I’m not sure what the next question is…but do you mean “internet explorer”? I’m not good on computer terms.

    When I switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome my web browsing and download speed increased dramatically.

    yes, internet explorer would be a web browser.  (A web browser is the program you open or use to access the Internet (specifically the World Wide Web portion of the internet)).  

    It is quite possible that switching to Chrome will make a differences.   (although I used Internet Explorer without speed problems on the organizer)

    I know that someone else posted a while back about the organizer being slow – but I’m not sure if there was a resolution on it or not.

    The CM Organizer is more complex than most normal websites so it does perform a bit differently. There are a few things that can cause slowness:

    • Our server—I’ve double-checked and it seems to be running quickly with no problems.

    • The speed of your Internet connection—Go to http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and select the city nearest you (probably Atlanta) to run a speed test. Let us know what it says for your download speed.

    • The speed of your computer.

    • Which Web browser software you use—It looks like you are using Internet Explorer 8. It should run satisfactorily, but we’ve tested many browsers and Internet Explorer is the slowest. Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are the fastest.

    • Something on the Internet that is happening between your location and ours—This kind of problem is usually very temporary.

    I went to that website and it said my download speed is 1.72 Mbps and my upload speed is 0.32 Mbps. It didn’t say if that was good or not though? I’m going to check out the google chrome now…

    Kim I second to change to Google Chrome. Since I installed and use it I have no more problems (THANKS DOUG for the advice:))

    No problems with Safari on the MAC either.

    I just got the google chrome installed and I am SUPER EXCITED!!!! at how fast it is loading! ***THANK YOU!!!*** This has made my MONTH! 🙂 Yay!!!!
