I received this from Sally Clarkson the other day – and I hope many homeschool families will take notice of this and make Hollywood listen to those of us who would like wholesome family movies instead of all the rubbish they put out right now. I hope you will take the time to read the link – it looks like a super movie and hopefully will help change the face of moviemaking. It is called A Dolphin’s Tale and is based on a true story. Sally Clarkson explains it in her blog posted below. Linda
Even though my daughters are young adults, they don’t like many of the movies that are out there, so they are looking forward to this one as well..I hope those families who do watch movies will support this, so that more of this type can be made. Linda
Yes, I saw this post too from Mrs. Clarkson too. It looks really great!
On a side note, I saw Harry Connick Jr (who is in this upcoming movie) in a small concert two years ago. In addition to his amazing musical talent, he is such a fun, well spoken, and HILARIOUS guy! 🙂
We don’t have cable, so I had no idea that this movie was coming out! Thank you!! We wanted to take the kids to see a movie for their birthdays. Now we know which one to take them to. We actually studied Winter not long ago. Here was a short video clip we watched from the show Aqua kids:
Does anyone know if this applies in Canada to go see it in theaters on the homeschool day or is it just for the United States? I would like to make a statement in Canada for good movies also.
Kim.
