whittling gloves

    Ds10 just got a book on whittling for Christmas. The instructions show a thick glove to hold the wood, and a thumb guard for us on the carving hand if carving towards yourself. Any ideas on where to purchase these? The gloves at Lowes were too big. Thanks 🙂 Blessings, Gina

    We were looking at this for Christmas, but decided to wait a bit (my DS is 8).  Amazon had both the gloves and finger guards.

    For those of you weary of letting the littles in on the fun, we picked up a soap carving book and my boys really love it.
