where to begin?

HI all, hope that you all are having a wonderful school year. We have had a busy year with twin babies that we took into care, so that has been a lot of work. We started our year off with MFW CC and am not at all impressed by it. I don’t feel like we are learning enough. We switched from CM to give it try, and well…..we need to go back. CM is so rich in living books and the way she presents the curriculum Just wondering where would I start? We started a few years ago with Egypt and not sure how much my girls remember as they we younger. My dds are 6th and 3rd grade and I really want to keep them together.
