The content is the same, just the typeset is different and the Memoria Press ones have full color images. I prefer the Memoria Press, but this is just personal choice.
From the Memoria Press website “What is the difference between the new Memoria Press Famous Men of Rome and the old Greenleaf edition? The stories are essentially the same, but with our editing. In the Memoria Press Famous Men of Rome, we also have added Improved Images and New Maps of Greece.”
Do you know why Sonya chose the Greenleaf books over the Memoria Press books in her Family study handbooks for History? Maybe there is a price difference; I’ll have to check it out.
Sonya – do you think I could use the Memoria Press books with your History modules? Or would it be better to stick with Greenleaf Press? Have you heard or do you know of any major differences?
I haven’t heard of any comparisons, mommy25, so I’m not sure. I know the Greenleaf Famous Men books through Renaissance and Reformation are reprints of the ones by John Haaren and A.B. Poland, but they are edited. How much, I don’t know. Maybe you could ask Greenleaf or Memoria. They might know specifics.
