Rakhel, it sounds wonderful. I think East Tennessee is glorious, too. One thing that has always struck me about the parts of the west I have seen (the usual canyons, national parks) is that all the scenery seems to be spectacular. Everywhere you look says wow! Where I’m from, the views are just as beautiful but more of simple serenity. I have to admit the thought of lower humidity makes me want to pack my bags. 🙂 Actually it’s less civilization we want. I’ve said for the past few years that our little town is getting way too big. We’ll see what God has in store. Wonder if the area would be receptive to a living books library?
Well this girl here would be extremely excited about perusing your living books library!!! I already entertained that delightful thought..hoping you would be open to it. 😀
What a timely thread! My hubby and I have been thinking about Idaho for a while now. We have homeschooling friends that just moved to the Coeur d”Alene area and were raving about how awesome Idaho is. Also, we have an uncle in Idaho Falls who says he will never go back to CA (where we are). Funny how I used to know very little about Idaho and now everyone is talking about it. If you move your libarary to Idaho, Robin, that’s one more reason for us to go!
HA! Well, Lord willing, if we go my library will go with me though I shudder at the thoughts of moving it. And I think finding a property that has a place to house it would be a challenge. I have such a perfect setup here. A finished apartment in my basement with its own entrance but just downstairs from my living room…
Don’t wait on me though. I can’t forsee that we will be going anywhere anytime soon. Only God knows.
Uh-oh…hi Michelle. 🙂 Fancy meeting you here. Don’t worry. If we go anywhere it won’t be tomorrow and there is another library, possibly two, in the works nearby. East TN will definitely be taken care of in the living books department.
