pjssully ParticipantHi,
I am looking for some type of CM friendly science course for 12 year old boys. I would like something that has living books, if possible. What have you used?

Monica ParticipantWe’ve enjoyed Noeo Science for the past two years. Last year we did Bio II, and this year we are doing Chem II.
sheraz Participanthttp://www.guesthollow.com/homeschool/curriculum.html
Scroll about 1/2 down the page and there is her science….living books, hand-on activities, etc. for middle school.
I haven’t used them yet, but want to in the next year or so.
petitemom ParticipantI thought there would be more suggestions here!
I am also doing Noeo for a second year. For physics there were some living books listed as part of the program, not for Biology. I am thinking to add a couple.
I do like guest hollow a lot as well, considered using that too.
She has great links for history too!
TailorMade ParticipantWe’ve used the Masters Books during middle school. A bit of an introduction to a somewhat textbook feel.
However, there was a recent discussion on using Queen’s highschool science resources might offer them as a suggestion for middle school use.

HollyS ParticipantI haven’t used these, but am looking into them. http://www.nlpg.com/type/packages
petitemom ParticipantThat looks pretty cool Holly! Do you know if they are living books?
HollyS ParticipantI’ve only read one of the Tiner books and I’d consider it a living book. I’m sure there are samples on RR or Christian books.
petitemom Participantthanks Holly, saving this. Although I have liked Noeo if I find something that is using living books I will most likely switch…
