What a Blessing

    I just wanted to take a few moments to say,(mostly to anyone that may be unsure about the CM method), what a blessing it is.

    I posted before how difficult our year was last year. Well, we are two weeks into the new year and I have seen a complete turn around in my girls. After reading Charlottes books,implementing her ideas, along with using the SCM history and science our days have become delightful. I never thought we would enjoy “school” so much.

    The beauty of reading together and stopping to delve into a book to our hearts content without the pressure of “this has to be done today, this week, this semester”, is making for a very happy family time instead of an awful school time.

    Thanks so much for all of you at SCM, your books, and all you do to help those of us that had no idea homeschooling could be this good. If I hadn’t found your site, I wouldn’t have had the hope I now have for our homeschooling adventure.

    What encouragement!! I am a CMer, BUT I am still stuck on the”have to” “we should” “the world says” and I need ot get out of that! Thanks for posting this message!

    I also am so encouraged with this website. I knew I wanted to do the CM way but didn’t know where to start. I found this sight and I am gaining more and more insight and encouragement that I can’t wait to start my child in two weeks. It is such a blessing to find answers to my questions and also to be able to ask.
