The new forum software is up and running!
As you can see, it’s still a bit rough around the edges, but we wanted you to be able to begin using it. We will continue to tidy up and add features back in as we go.
I must say that you all have been a talkative bunch over the last seven years (yes, that long!) In that time you’ve created more than 18,000 topics having more than 100,000 replies! It actually took several days just to convert the data.
What a blessing that those numbers represent so many of you getting to know one another and helping each other in your homeschooling journeys.

Wow! I like some of the formatting, but I admit that the color is hard for me to read. Gray on white. The font is small and I tried making it larger but couldn’t. I know you are working so no criticism, but I also know how different browsers can affect so just wanted to give you some feedback. (I’m in Firefox)
Keep up all the hard work.

I second the idea of making a slightly bigger font (to be honest, the size font on the homepage is too big for me!) and a different color.
Please don’t think I’m being difficult! I’m just getting OLD!

I agree that the color is hard on the eyes.
Also 2 questions, I feel silly to ask but I do not see where you start a new topic and also where did the Favorites go?

The size and color are better now but we’re still tweaking.
Favorites and subscriptions have been converted but we’re not displaying them anywhere yet. It’s part of your account settings, which aren’t working yet either.
For now, to start a new topic go to one of the main forums listed on the bottom section forum home page. Once you’re there you should have a form to start a new topic at the bottom of the page. This will get better.

Keep up the good work.
My 1st thoughts: It’s hard to see the boxes, my print is small and when I first saw the forum topics opening pages was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t just look down the list quick. There is so much information with each new post. I guess I liked the condensed version.
But what a ton of work. So appreciated, I’m sure with some time it will all work out and come together very well. Thanks again SCM team for the hard work and the sale for December!!

FYI, Because we’re making changes so rapidly, they may not all be reflected in your view of things. If you force your browser to refresh the page it should pick up more recent changes. Everyone might want to do that now and then until things settle down more.
