visits to…questions

    I really feel like I should know the answer to this question and it’s probably really super duper obvious…maybe so obvious that I can’t even see it! Are these visits to books something that you use daily? 3x’s a week? I’m just unsure how to use them and schedule them.

    once per week is the basic plan as laid out. You can flex as needed.

    We’re using Module 1 all resources, but have rearranged our schedule to finish it in 2.5 terms. We used Visits once per week for 12 weeks and now will use twice per week for 24. This is because we have an extended trip coming up in May.

    We are also using Module 1 and do 1 Visit per week.  I have found that my kids need lots of review, so we look at the maps for about 5 minutes almost every day.  That’s what works for us.

    My kids 13, 10, 6 – did fine with once per week and no review. However, they are very used to doing map drill. Just FYI. You know your kids and situation best.
