Using Language Well & Spelling Wisdom

My jr higher –  to be high schooler has been doing 3 lessons a week to get through them quicker. We started late so she is only in book 2. We do 2 dictation lessons and 1 grammar only. This will get her through about 3 books in 2 years. Then we can slow down to 2 lessons a week. I wouldn’t give my younger kids more than 2 dictations a week. My older child spells fairly well and I am confident she will get enough spelling skipping some. I do the 3rd lesson on our light Friday so so it’s a treat to just do grammar.
