I started using the SCM method almost a year ago. My son is currently in 5th grade and his biggest struggle is writing and spelling, even though he is a very proficient reader. I purchased the ULW and SW Book 1 for him (he was in 4th grade when I ordered these). So my question is should we continue on through book 1, or should I move ahead to book 2? I’ve tried many, many language arts products for him and this is the first one we’ve tried that he actually enjoys!
