Using both AAS and AAR, how often?

    I will use AAS and AAR for my 7.5 and 5+ yos, I know some of you only use AAS daily.  Should I use  both or just AAS?  I plan 2x/week for AAS, and 2x/week for AAR, is it enough or too much?

    I haven’t used AAR, so I can’t comment on that. We use AAS daily, and I didn’t start it until after my dd was well on her way to reading fluency and starting to ask how to spell things all the time. We used other materials to learn how to read.

    Sorry, don’t know if that helps at all…but that’s what we do.
