US History along side Ancients?

    We will be starting A Living History of Our World, Vol 2 in the fall. My oldest son, however, has expressed an interest in reading about Ancient history-what is your opinion of going ahead with our plan, but letting him do ancients as well? Too much? Too confusing? I hate to not capitalize on an interest, but I don’t want to drop where we are either. What would you do?

    I think many people are finding it possible to cover two different time periods.  Are you keeping a book of centuries?  It would help him keep things straight as well.
