A local family we know had a car accident last night when another driver ran a red light. One of the children, Reagan – age 6, was severely injured with head trauma. She had brain surgery last night and is still unconscious, perhaps medically induced, I’m not sure. They hope to wake her today. Please pray for this sweet family. Reagan’s mom was driving with all 3 girls in the car. Everyone else is ok injury wise, but has some pain from the accident.

I am so sorry Christie. I have been through a similar experience fifteen years ago when my husband was almost killed and suffered the same type of injury. I am praying for them all. Please keep me posted.
Update:
– Reagan is actually 5. She has a broken clavicle and broken bones in her hip(s), but those won’t require surgery thankfully. She is being transferred from the trauma center to the children’s hospital.
– Riley, age 7 was injured and remains in the hospital with internal bleeding. (I was mistaken before.) the doctors don’t expect surgery to be necessary, but that her body will absorb it. She is in the children’s hospital where Reagan is being transferred.
– The one year old, Ansley, was treated and released last night as was the mom, Lisa.
