Some of you may remember awhile back I asked you to pray for my friend who delivered twins at 25 weeks back in November…things were touch and go for them for awhile. Anyhow, I thought I’d let you know that they are both very close to being discharged from the hospital – probably sometime in the next week or so. They are still very likely to face long-term developmental challenges particularly with their son, but the fact that they are both breathing and feeding well enough to be discharged is a HUGE milestone for them. Thank you for your prayers for this sweet family.

What a sweet blessing to hear that news….I have thought of them and wondered how things were going with them. The challenges can be faced and having them home where they can be nurtured and loved in their family will be the biggest help in their futures. Once we got the girls home after all that time in the hospital they started to thrive, it was hard and exhausting feeding every 2 hours 24/7, but they came on in leaps and bounds. The challenges are overwhelming sometimes, but in the end, it is worth every second of every moment of joy and pain. I wish them joy, strength and patience for the challenges and joys ahead – 20 years on I can say they too will look back and see the hard times and worry were worth it. May God richly bless them. Thanks for the update. Linda

I’m a preemie mom and it is definitely a roller coaster, even after the NICU, in ways. I’m so glad to hear this update!!
