Thanks everyone for your prayers for my husband and family since the beginning of Oct.
The test results on his muscle biopsy showed muscle atrophy w/a lack of nerve activity within them; however, they showed that the reason is unknown. So next he goes to a neuro-muscular specialist in Jan. and a rheumatologist-immunologist in April.
His shoulder that was broken from his fall back in Sept. is healing, but his knee requires surgery; it is broken and the ligament is torn. That will be at the beginning of Jan.
I’m hoping to get him to an MD/ND that a friend’s family goes to to get a more thorough testing panel done on his vitamin/mineral levels, etc. and to also get him on a plan to strengthen his immune system. I already know what he could do, but he doesn’t really listen to me (deridingly calls me Dr. Rachel). He likes people who have that piece of paper on the wall, but even still he’s not disciplined enough to be radical enough to change some habits that are compromising to his health; but anyway, it’s worth a try.
Thanks for your prayers for my children and me, too.
Rachel, bless you both and I will continue to pray for your situation and that he will realise that good nutrition, vitamin and mineral levels are important, in fact vital for our health…I feel so badly for you going through all this, but I also know you are a strong and faithful woman – thinking of you:)) Linda
Rachel, I’m glad to see your report. I have missed your wisdom here! We will also continue to pray for your family, and I am “ditto-ing” Linda. =) Hoping that you will have peace and comfort through this situation. Sheila
