Understanding Writing by Susan Bradrick

I picked up this rather large manual at a local thrift store this past week.  The cover page states that it is a Christ-centered, Mastery-oriented, English Language and Composition Curriculum for Grades 1-12.  Does anyone have any experience with this book?  I’d love to hear your thoughts.  Thanks!
