    Good morning, Everyone!

My oldest dd is finishing up her first year of high school as a homeschooler.  Lately she’s been complaining that she has too much work to do.  This is not true, but in comparison to her younger siblings, yes, she has more work.  So I’m hoping that some of you experienced high school moms will post what a typical day and/or workload looks like for your homeschooler.  If you include what books you’re using that would also be great.  This way I can see if she’s on track, behind, or really overworked.  Smile

    Thanks!

I don’t have time this afternoon to type in my high-school students’ days, but my sophomore averages about 5 hours per day and the senior, more, possibly closer to seven hours a day, but then he has procrastinated a research paper.  🙂  And they’ve both had online or outside classes this year.  Comparing to public-school always got mine when they complained—“Well, your friend GOES to school for seven hours, then does practice, then still has two hours of homework!  You have it EASY!”  LOL  I can tell you that my closest one in age to yours, my sophomore, does Lightning Lit, chemistry, pre-calculus, several books for history, economics lectures plus books, several smaller topics and our family studies.  I’m probably forgetting something but have to run.  I’ll try and look up their days later.
