  • I was wondering if these are more study guides with questions to answer? Sonja said in another post somewhere that this is not CM.I’m always looking for something to help me ask questions to get discussion started and to help them think.   Do the Module 1 have discussion questions like Truth Quest?

    Thanks

TQ has “Think Write” exercises for the student to answer IF you want to use them.  We never have.  We read and narrate.  Although in rereading your post I’m not sure if I’m answering your question.  Smile

TQ isn’t a question/answer study guide; it’s not really a study guide at all. It’s more of a book list and time guide with commentary from a Providential worldview.

It’s a convenient compilation of good books, preorganized according to age and events, to help you stay on track  on a course of study.

It’s CMish because it facilitates a Living History study involving narrations, not the simplistic (as opposed to Socratic) question/answer style of study.

Right. Questions on the content are not CM. But you are welcome to use discussion questions that invite opinions and connections after the children have narrated.
