Have any of you used Truth Quest? How did you use it? It looks like it is not a schedule, but a commentary and book list to go with the commentary; correct?
If you have used it and SCM; which did you like better?
I am thinking about history for sometime late next fall. I am a little early on the research.
Truth Quest looks CM in its approach; correct?
This sentence on their web-site really resonates with me since it matches my educational goals:
“Walking and talking together, reading God’s Word: this is how Jesus taught the disciples the most important truths of all times..”
So what have you thought of Truth Quest, if you have used it? Does it stay true to God’s Word? It looks like it might be Providential history; correct?
sherazParticipantlovinghomeschoolParticipantThank you for a great link!
HiddenJewelParticipantThe year we used TruthQuest Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome with my junior high students was the best history year we have had.
lovinghomeschoolParticipantThank you Hidden Jewel. The look of Truth Quest intrigues me. I like the world view I am seeing in it. It is looking like a possible good history fit for us. I also like the idea, on the thread, of possibly combining it with SCM modules. Thank you!
LindseyDParticipantI will be using TQ as our primary history guide next year. It’s my first time, but I’m really excited! I’m going to be weaving in a bit of the SCM history Module 5 as well, and I think we’re going to have a very good history year!
