You asked us to be transparent…..however, I simply cannot find my bottle of glass cleaner, thus, transparent is not a word I can use anymore.  Just look at my windows.

I’ll try to tackle this one, though.

We have read very, very little Shakespeare.  (*Gasp*)  We just haven’t.

We only listen to music that would count as composer study when we are in the car and someone has spoken disrespectfully to me. (“Oh, so you’re getting snarky with me?! Well, you’re just lucky I’m not going to stop this car and make you stand in ‘timeout’ on the side of the road! So, I’m going to turn off your radio station. Yep, I’m turning on a station I want to listen to.  Oh, look–here’s the classical music station! That’s right, it’s staying on for the next 15 minutes!!!”)

They really dislike ‘classical’ music.  The 15yo tolerates it for awhile if it’s strings, but only because she plays the violin.  And guess what Mom’s major in college was?  Music Education – major instrument, voice.  (Shhhh…..don’t tell anyone!  Did I mention they don’t like to hear me sing German and Italian operas?)

And, no offense to Sonya, but I read Smooth and Easy Days.  Our days are about as smooth and easy as chunky peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth.  *Sigh*

Well, I am not homeschooling through high school. At least not with my first 2. Always thought I would and just could not do it. They just want to be with other people than me and their brothers and I can’t blame them really!!

We did read some Shakespeare but the kid version so I don’t think that would count for much for Ms.Mason!!

Plutarch, never even crossed my mind.

We did a lot of poetry until I started to get too much negative feedback from the older ones.

I really haven’t done that much nature study for a while.

Not much crafts either, thankfully my 6 years old takes the initiative and just crafts away by himself.
