Asking for a friend who is currently without internet access: My friend recently purchased and downloaded SCM’s Stories of the Nations. The file opens fine on her computer. Then she transferred the title to her Kindle (the latest basic model one), and when she tries to open it there, she gets the message “Archive does not contain any pictures’. I’ve never had any trouble opening PDF files on my Kindle (it is an older model however.) Anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? Doug?

    Thanks!

I just tested Stories of the Nations 1 and 2 on my Kindle and did not encounter any problems with them.

I plugged my Kindle into my computer with the USB cable then dragged the PDF files into the Kindle’s documents folder. The word “archive” in that error message makes me wonder if she tried sending the zip file to the Kindle rather than unpacking it and sending only the PDF file inside.

That did the trick! Thanks Doug!
