I have a very odd problem. I go to the Forum, I log in. Then I go to message lists. I get a little window underneath, for typing replies if I want to reply. This has always worked. Until the other day. NOW, when I go in, whatever message list I go to first–I can’t get a reply window. I log in again. No go. I back out and go to OTHER messages–I can reply there. I go back to the one I WANT to reply to–still no reply window. It’s almost like it can read my mind, and deliberately blocks the ONE message I want to reply to! I have Windows, run Firefox, and have never had this problem before until like Thursday. If I go away and come back many hours later, and play around on the Forum FIRST without letting it know which one I want to reply to, sometimes I can “sneak” in and get a reply window on the one I really want—but it’s getting annoying! And slowing down my responses on the forum! Any idea what’s up?

I just posted that I could not post replies either – and so it is random because I can do it now on this response. Boy it is annoying.
There was an odd post on here the other day I noticed, someone trying to sell bridal gowns or something, post has since gone, so I assume Doug took care of it – they couldn’t have loaded a little gremlin could they??? Linda

We’re not sure what is going on yet but we’re investigating. Next time you run into that problem please try forcing a refresh of the page and then try again. You do that in most browsers by holding down the shift key while you click the page reload button.
Please let us know if that works or not. It will help us narrow down the cause. Thanks.

Forcing a page reload worked for me….apparently. I had read your post on this thread before logging in….visited the page with the Bookworm/Same Problem thread….logged in….then went back to the main forum page….where I was logged out. I forced the page reload, it showed me as logged in, and I came here to post this.

Still having trouble here. I forced a refresh like you suggested, and that held only on that particular page. When I came here to post, I was logged out again. Forced another refresh in order to post. 🙁

ETA: That 2nd forced refresh seems to be holding….. I’ve checked into several threads to see if there’s a reply box, and so far so good. I’ll let you know after I leave the website in a few minutes and come back later this afternoon.

Update: Still having to force refresh pages. I’ve had to do it about 3 times this time before it seems to be sticking.
