Are there any other train books that are on a similar level that I could read to him? I looked into the original Thomas stories, but I wasn’t crazy about the attitudes portrayed in them. BTW, he loves the cover of “Laying Down the Rails”. He always asks me where the train is. 🙂 September 7, 2013 at 6:32 pm KaylaParticipantNot sure about other train books but we do not read Thomas either. My 4yo dd will say “Thomas has a bad attitude mommy” September 7, 2013 at 6:57 pm RobinPParticipantChoo Choo by Virginia Lee Burton September 7, 2013 at 6:59 pm artcmomto3ParticipantOooo, he loves her books! It is expensive on Amazon, but maybe from the library?http://www.amazon.com/The-Train-Grandmas-Ivan-Gantschev/dp/0887080537/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1378644646&sr=8-2&keywords=the+train+to+grandmas September 8, 2013 at 12:56 pm HollySParticipantFreight Train by Donald Crews was one mine enjoyed.
