Michelle owns an amazing living books library consisting of over 20,000 volumes, mostly older and OOP. When she first wrote the TQ guides, most of the books she listed were from those on her shelves that she herself knew about. However moms were complaining that they couldn’t find many of the titles. When she revised the guides, she reluctantly added many newer books, making sure everyone understood that she had never seen most of them. The majority of the books I own are from the OOP titles. I also own her database from her library so if I’m in doubt about a newer title, I often look it up there to see if she owns it. Doesn’t necessarily make it a bad book if she doesn’t but gives me somewhere to begin.
