To Finish or to Move on?

We bought an 84 year old house and have spend the last couple of months making repairs and moving in.  We did a pretty good job of keeping up with school until about a month ago when exhaustion set in, and my husband and I both got sick with strep for several weeks.  We are now recovered and mostly settled into the house, but now it’s summer.  The neighborhood kids are out of school, and I was hoping to have “normal” summer for my kids who are 6 (finishing 1st grade) and 4.  We used the Genesis – Deuteronomy & Ancient Egpyt curriculum.  I’m trying to decide whether to work on it over the summer, finish it in the fall, or just move on to the next history/Bible/Geography curriculum to keep them lined up to “regular” school years.  Advice?

I would stop and just enjoy summer outside and start fresh in the fall

At that age, I’d move on in the fall and simply enjoy relaxed learning with good literature/biographies/science books over the summer.

I would move on in the fall too, your kids are really young and have many years ahead of learning.  Enjoy the slower pace!

Definitely move on!  As mentioned above, your children are very young and it will come in due time. Enjoy these simple days with them :))
