    I was wondering if anyone has used The Verbal Math Lesson books and how they liked them.

    My thought after looking at it was: all math at that age should be verbal and manipulative.  One of my mentors says math is only understood by the following method:  Do, Write, Say and years into it – symoblize (in that order).  So, if you ONLY have verbal instruction without them doing it first, your youing one really won’t understand.  Most people, even if they can do math, don’t understand it.
