I was thinking about using The Story of the World until I read some reviews that concerned me.  One said it has historical inaccuracies.  One error is that it teaches the nomads turned into farmers.  It sounds likes it has stories that are similar to Bible stories.  One said it takes liberties with the stories.

I know I can just order it, look through it, and return it if I don’t like it.  However, I would love some reviews by those who have used it here on SCM.

I believe there is a thread that discusses SOTW and the Mystery of History, which are similar (I think).  I have used MOH, but I will say that all though it was my favorite find for history it just didn’t fit for a CM education.  That’s just my opinion, of course.  We are much happier with the SCM module 5.  I am loaning mine out to a friend of mine for a co-op class.  I do want it back for future reference but not necessarily for a curriculum for history.

    kiddos are calling, better go…hth.
