I am very interested in using the online Organizer.  My only real issue is that it’s on the computer.  I have no problem with doing my record keeping there, entering the info, etc.  However, the thought of myself and each child having to go to the computer to see what assignments to do every day is something that I just don’t believe will work for us.  I am very visual and need to be able to see at a glance what each kid has on tap for that day.  So, my question is…. can I print out a daily and/or weekly “checklist” for each child that I can hang up on our board?  I currently write everyone’s daily assignments on the board and this works very well for us.  I don’t really want to do that part in a different way.

Sure, you can print out your daily plan and then come back to the computer and enter everything at once. Hopefully some of the people who have been using the Organizer for a while will jump in and tell how they use it.

The Daily Plan printout is great!  It has places to mark off Finished, or Worked on, for each assignment.

Although I’m not doing it right now, I used to print off the list for each child to put in a little “planner” book, and they could mark things off as they get them done.  I haven’t been doing that so much this year (we are low on printer toner – and have mostly family subjects) but I plan to more next year.   I could almost ideally see printing off the list, and having it sit on top of their books/required materials, so they could get started early (I dream a lot… lol)

I print out the Family list for me and one for each child.  After everyone has completed their lists, I come back and mark it done for the day.  I have been putting those papers in a binder for a term so I can tell at a glance how they are doing.  My olders will write notes to me on them, and I use those to help me track what we do/did for my next planning session.  After each term, I recycle the lists to the scrap paper pile.

You do not have to keep the daily lists at all once they are recorded on the computer.

    What Sheraz said. 🙂

Only, I’m not quite that organized.  lol

Our old daily plans go into the “colouring box” for the toddler to colour on…
