The Jesus Storybook Bible

we have the dvds – and my boys and I love them! I believe it is the same guy who does the audio doing them and the pictures are the same illustrations in the book with very minimal animation (I would liken it to the old Scholastic videos of books. It is more like a slideshow with the Ken Burns effect. In the garden the snake’s tongue does go in and out and they thought that was a hoot) that keeps true to the book and doesn’t distract or give a different perspective. If it isn’t a huge deal budget wise, I’d get them – and the collector’s edition on Amazon is cheaper than getting the video downloads on CBD, and you could always gift the book, or have an extra. I think you can watch previews on CBD or even You Tube. If you have more specific ?s let me know!

ooh, I have not, I will check it out! I just googled “Jesus storybook bible videos” and some youtube links came up. Sorry about the cbd reference, for some reason I thought I saw preveiws on there. Did you know about the Rain For Roots cd? These are some folks I know of (you know the six degrees of separation kind of “know”) that have made a children’s cd from some of her poetry. It is great. I got it just because I support anything that comes from these folks (they are part of the Indellible Grace group that has rewritten tunes to old hymns) even though I thought it may be a little young for my boys, but they request it all the time, it is their favorite.
