For what ages would this be appropriate?

Would you recommend this before Pilgrim’s Progress? Why or why not?

I plan on reading Pilgrim’s Progress aloud next year (to an 11 yr. old and a 10 yr.old); The Holy War I’d have my son (age 11 come fall) read independently at the appropriate age.

    Thanks,

If you are talking — unabridged?

Sometime after 13. Most rec reading those both in 11th &12th grade. Whenever I see them in a curriculum– PP is always before Holy War. At our house, it’s sometime in highschool– depending on their ability to ‘reason’.

If its the unabridged— 10 & 11 should be ok. Are you talking about the unabridged with pictures?

    Hopefully more will chime in

    Yes, I mean unabridged.

Yes, an unabridged, nicely illustrated Pilgrims Progress for next year’s Lit. read aloud.

    So THW after PP
