thanks!-? about Apologia Biology CM way

First of all i want to say a big THANKS to all who have replied to my numberous questions over that past few weeks! Can you tell i am a bit nervous about going completely CM next year?  Also planning for the high schooler is very different.  Anyways i was wondering if there is anyway to do the apologia using CM methods.  I am not thrilled with the amount of work since my daughter will most likely not pursue a degree that requires much science.  I think the study guides assignments are too long as well.  Any way to use this book in a more friendly way?  Or is there another science biology course that is CM friendly?  Thanks for comments.
