    Sonya,

    I wanted to thank you SO much for everything you shared with us yesterday at the SCM conference. There were so many questions I had about who CM really was, what she really taught and you brought all those bits of information together in a way that really spoke to my heart. I returned home with my faith renewed that I have not failed my children and that there truly is a better way for us to learn together as a family. I also listened to the CD “Reaching Your Child’s Heart” on my long drive home and it brought me to tears. Spending the day with you was such an incredible blessing! Thank you so much!

    I am feeling led to bump this post so that Sonya’s words may bless another household. I have used “Reaching Your Child’s Heart” as my bible study for the past three mornings.

    ***I just cannot encourage you enough to get this sweet little seminar available in the bookstore.*** I was blessed to be given all of the SCM resources by a wonderful family member and and they are ALL wonderful! I have come to trust the SCM materials completely without a second glance. The best part is that, where appropriate, Sonya has carefully placed the word of the Lord in her writings. I know that the Lord has first grade laid out before me even though I cannot see it from where I stand.  I am done planning/buying for first grade and I have been praying over my choices for the Lord to bless our lessons in the coming year. I beg of the Lord to give me strength to focus on loving my children instead of focusing on what we are accomplishing acedemically. I am so thankful to have found SCM so early on our family’s homeschool.

    This audio seminar was the icing on the cake for me. I am as prepared for first grade as I will ever be. It is in the Lord’s hands. My efforts of decision are done and now I can focus on reaching my child’s heart with acedemics on the side.

    ***The seminar is a tear jerker and if you do nothing else, skip right to the end, and prepare your heart for a beautiful and heartfelt prayer from Sonya. I cried the entire time, and I am not normally so tenderhearted. But, when it comes to our children, aren’t we all tenderhearted?***

    I encourage everyone to sit back and let the Lord do his work in your life through this seminar. If you are feeling burdened with your acedemic and personal to do lists, listen to Sonya’s words. You will certainly have a renewed sense of purpose in homeschool. Blessings to all. Sorry to write so much…I didn’t plan on that. 🙂
