I’m looking for short living-stories (or excerpts from living books) that demonstrate the character trait of teachability — and a readiness to receive correction and grow from that correction. Do any come to mind?
I don’t know if you have boys, but Boyhood and Beyond and the other books by Bob Schultz are excellent for teaching life lessons. My boys and I read a couple of chapters each week. I can see how these personal anecdotes influence my 14YO in his diligence and his attitude.
