I’m finding some homemade ideas for a model of the Tabernacle…some are books with die-cut versions…some very pricey models to order…anyone have any recommendations or experiences to share on this project?
Several years ago we bought one of the models and put that together. I’m really glad we did it, though it was quite time consuming. We still have it and are going to be taking it back out soon for our history lessons. I would highly recommend something sturdy that the kids can handle and examine – something that will keep for a while.
Though its pricey we purchased a beautiful model kit by The Tabernacle Place – very well crafted and sturdy. This also comes with an accompanying bible study – revealing the foreshadowing of Christs sacrifice.
Hi there – I am homeschooling in New Zealand and teaching the children history/geography in Exodus and would love to buy a model kit if anyone has one they no longer use or has a spare. I have tried emailing the link above as they seem unable to post one to NZ. If Charlotte Mason could make contact with them I am happy to buy it through you if able? kylee_buckley [at] yahoo [dot] co [dot] nz
