summer memory work review

    How do you do memory work review in the summer? It seems like a waste to go through the effort of memorizing it and review it during the school year, only to have them forget it all over the summer, but I want a break in the summer and don’t want to have to do memory work review. When my now 11 YO was younger I just made up a schedule and had her do it on her own in the summer, but my other school age kids have dylsexia and can’t read well enough for this to be an option.

    Read it into a recorder once and they can replay?

    Could your eleven year old read the memory verses to the others? Or perhaps choose a few key verses to truly memorize and recite them. Even on summer we do not summer school we still do family devotionals and review memory verses, sing hymns, read the bible etc. could you take a more casual approach to memory verses over the summer but still review them together?
