suggestions for alternative to Junior Analytical Grammar??

    I can’t afford this curriculum. Can someone please point me to an alternative one?? Thanks

    You can look at Growing with Grammar. We’ve used it for 2 years and it’s been fine. It’s written to the student and easy to understand.

    Hi Angela,

    We don’t do formal grammar until grade 6 or 7. We started regular AG with our ds grade 7; he had no formal grammar instruction prior to that, except for lots of good literature, oral & written narration, copywork and dictation. He has done really well so far. I’m not sure the age of your children but maybe you could afford regular AG when the time comes – its well worth the price. 🙂

    Thanks for the website for the free grammar curriculum. It looks wonderful!

    I really love DGP grammar. It takes five minutes a day and my kids really like it. We do it on a marker board. The best thing about it is how well they remember concepts–DGP really makes it “stick”.
